Buds w/o hairs = MALE.
I can't tell from your pictures what you have. Look at the internodes right below the top of the plant. Don't look at the top of the plant.
First positive sign of a female will be a couple of fine white hairs growing out of a tiny protrusion at the crook of one of the highest nodes.

If your seeing what looks like bud formation before you see 2 white hairs comming out of a little nub then in all likelyhood it's a boy.Get a magnifying glass & look at all the nodes.
If you start seeing little round growths in the nodes it's a male,if the round growths start lookin like a mini bunch of bananas its surely a male.
