Possible allergic reaction?

Recently I got hold of some real shoddy quality smoke. It was fine at first, but then I found my nasal passage to feel inflamed, making sleeping at night awful. It also affected my throat I assume by making me mouth breathe.

So I decided to throw that junk away, possibly contaminated or whatever. I decided to have a tolerance break and my nose pretty much went back to normal, sweet!

However now, no matter what I smoke, almost instantly I get congestion in my nose, rash across my cheeks in some instances and a throat that feels like that lump in your throat you get when you're about to get tonsilitius.

Has anyone else experienced this and know any remedies or solutions?

I love smoking to medicate, without it I struggle with my Crohn's disease.

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

I have a friend with similar set of symptoms, he said his throat felt like its was constricted. This in my opinion is probably due to inflammation.
Are you sure you are not allergic to hemp? Because that is what ended up causing his discomfort, during and after smoking.
Hope this helps :bigjoint:

Well, I am currently experiencing a lot of inflammation due to my Crohn's disease flaring up. I'd like to think this is temporary until my symptoms settle down but as this has been a recent occurrence and persistent when consuming I am not sure.

Did he manage to find anything to help at all?

Sadly he did not manage to find anything to remove/decrease the symptoms, besides abstaining. However I will ask him if edibles produce the same symptoms.

Thanks friend! I'm wondering in my situation if the material was mouldy, symptoms look similar and could mean my grinder is contaminated.. Guess I'll have to treat Myself to a new one. Any recommendations welcomed by anyone that reads this! I like the phoenetician ones (if I spelled it correctly)
