I'm an Athiest, but he is the most Christ-like Christian regularly in the public eye that I've probably ever seen.

The church still has a lot to answer for but at least with people like Francis at the helm they're (albeit) slowly moving the right direction for the future.

C'mon now, he pays lip service to the media but won't do shit about all the sex offenders he manages. If his words actually had meaning, he wouldn't be pulling bishops and cardinals (who happened to spend their careers protecting sex offenders in their dioceses) out of their countries and giving them high profile positions in the Vatican.

Fuck, I couldn't agree with you more.. It would be nice to see some goddamn substance in this section and real criticisms than name calling personal attack bullshit..

A lot of members here probably have good ideas that most of us would agree with if it weren't for the petty personal bullshit that dilutes all meaningful dialogue..

voter ID would disproportionately affect minorities because fewer minorities have ID. so even if people of all races went out and got IDs at the same rate, those starting behind the line would finish there too.
