popcorn effect

Got a plant that is "popcorning" in certain areas. I'm worried that this will significantly decrease the yield when it comes time to harvest. Is there any trick that may decrease this effect?

Thanks in advanced,

This is an outdoor grow, and the plant is in preflower. The strain is Hindu Kush, here are some pictures. The issue i'm having is there are popcorn buds sporadically growing in areas, rather than the main cola on the secondary stems. I was just wondering if there were techniques to minimize these effect and allocate the "buds" on the main cola. Should I prune these pocorn buds or just leave them to harvest.

Thanks again

Your always gonna have the popcorn buds, plus that plant looks like it still has some filling out to do so worry not! You will have some nice main colas there.
By the way that plant looks great!

yeah your gonna have popcorn buds no matter what, but it doesnt mean you wont have big thick colas, your plant looks nice and like diet103 said it has some filling out to do...dont worry you will have big buds as well as the popcorn buds.
