Polyploidy?

ok, so the biggest of my plants, im assuming an indica strain, has unusual top leaf formations. the newly formed fan leaves have 9 leads instead of seven. is this the onset of polyploidy?

I don't think so. Plants don't always produce leaves with the exact same number of leaflets. From what I've read, polyploidy is a genetic mutation and you usually have to do something like add colchicine or cut off a bunch of the plant to induce it.
