ok so i had a plant growing indoor for about 1 month. Then i placed it outside w/ good sunlight ect.. I went back to check on it like 3 weeks later in it looked great!!! Leaves where bright green, just perfect. So i left it alone. I went back today to check on it about 4 weeks later and i come to find nothing but the stem there. The stem was standing tall but there where no leaves or bud!!! I looked around on the ground and there where no leaves in sight, so i dont think it died???? It was a perfect stem so i dont think and animals where eating it other wise the stem would of been damaged or torn leaves. HELP IF YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED...thanks much

Somebody probably snatched it......... sucks dude the same thing happened to me when i first started to grow then I just kept everything indoor......much safer.

Cold weather could have killed it and just made the leaves fall off naturally...(If you are in a place with cold weather.)

Ya thats what i was thinking happened. Damn i thought i had that hid so good too!
If it were a thief why not uproot it and run...sounds like the grasshoppers or tomato worm got you...it sucks but trial and error is the way to learn:-P

yA IT doesnt get below 45 here. and thats still pushin it. so it b more like avg 50's as the low. Would those temps kill it??? Ya grasshoppers and the worm cud of done tht but what happened to the leaves??NO sign of them if it was dead. Hmmmm

well yea they ate it then took off:-P you would be surprised how much those suckers can eat if not tended to:weed: Ive lost small plants in a day or 2 cause i was out of town for a weekend:wall:

Looks at other foliar plants in the area, what happened to their leaves?

This could lead to explanations such as locusts/other insects. But if your plant seems to be the only culprit, then its likely someone ripped the leaves off to make hash.

Or a stupid kid ripped the leaves off because he thought he could smoke them.

Ya i looked around the area and other plants where growin just fine and leaves where not touched. I also know that someone couldnt just come across it cuz i could barely find it when i went to look for it the 2nd time. It blended right in with the green trees and leafs and plants and such. Im thinkin some insect did it, but im just soo suprised that the could clean it so perfectly and leave the stem standing there looking soo perfect.

stealing leaves to make hash would have to be the dumbest thing ever:bigjoint:

I did that when i was a young boy. Its was a small, lowrider type weed... it blended well beside a small trail... I just started from the bottom and ripped upward in a semi clecnched, fist, opposed to just gripping the stem and pulling the whole plant...dick move but i was young and dumb.
