H-e-l-l-o-, I germinated 6 seeds, so far 1 is good to go. I put it in soil about 2in deep if that. Obviously it hasn't sprouted above the soil yet, but do i keep light on it 24/7 now until rdy to flower. I looked thru the forum but with my luck, i must of missed over the answer. thanks for the help.

2 inches?..ekkss..that could be bad...you should have planted it as deep as the size of the seed...and to answer your light question..put it on an 18/6 cycle...if you leave it on 24 hours it doesn't give it a chance to produce roots as well..so either the plant will be tiny or will just die

1/4" is more than enough. You'll be lucky if it breaks the surface. You won't need any light until it actually sprouts.

I appreciate the replies. i just planted that today and still have 5 more germinating, so i pulled that seed up and replanted to about 1/4''. if i messed it up all well, i guess i'll learn from my mistakes. Hopefully she'll rise though. thanks again!

I agree with the 1/4", however, I strongly disagree with the 'no light'
They need light!!! It gives those little seedlings something to reach for! If they have no light to reach for they will just sit there and die.(being that deep in the soil)

To the op, keep the lights on them!! Since they were germed you have a shot of them still sprouting up. Next time, do the 1/4" depth, but, since your in the situation your in...I would recommend to leave the lights on and give it a week.
I think you will be fine...

thanks again for the replies. I replanted the seed i had two inches deep to about 1/4'' deep. So I leave the lights on 24/7 till they sprout, then go to a 18/6 light cycle until time for flowering is that correct. Thanks again for any help it's greatly appreciated. Just wanna make sure im doing the right thing.
