Pls be my knight in shining.....

Hey we need some help, starting fresh and never done this before. Got some seeds from some stuff we bought, planted them and they happened to grow. So we have about 8 plants and need to get set up with the proper stuff. I've read lots of the newbie stuff on here, so I should know, but now they are getting fairly tall, maybe 6 inches, some are starting to droop. Can I save that? I don't have proper lighting yet, and everything else. Need to get the proper lighting, nutrients, etc. I live in a suite, so it has to be low key. Any newbie pointers would be much appreciated!!

You need to get some light right away if they are falling over.

If you are looking for cheap lighting go with fluorescents. If you are planning on paying for a good light i would get one that is interchangeable from hps to mh.

go to wallmart and get a clip on work light and the highest wattage of cfl's, this will stimulate growth while you decide what kind of set up you want.

For now head to Walmart buy four 48 inch shoplight fixtures with two bulbs in each one ASAP

Bulbs: Daylight ~6400-6500k

In the mean time if you want to make it stealth I would build a hybrid between this and this . If you are handy you can come up with a hybrid system with about 4 totes where the bottom chamber acts as a water reservoir and aeroponic chamber while the top and part of the bottom act as a growing area for your plants. I would go with 4 plants per 2 tote unit. Then go CFL's in the box. If you are not handy give me a pm we might be able to work something out as I am Hell, if you wanted I could build a voice activated hidden room.

I am currently engineering a new way to aeroponically grow as we speak- been building it for a few days in between work at everything else.
