This is the 3rd full day in the buckets. everything was fine till today. I have a 1000w MH light on 15 plants. pH is 5.9 - 6.1, I adjusted it down from 6.7 earlier today (it was 5.8 when I first put in the nutrients). The room is about 78 deg.

2) Growing indoors
3) Watering schedule is 1 hour on and 1 hour off with the air pump and a fan.
4) Growing Medium is hydroton and rockwool cubes
5) I am in the Veg. stage of growth

Thank you!

I read some other posts and I used tap water and had been using distilled previously? Could this be the cause?

My other guess was nitrogen deficiency from lockout because of the high pH?

Any thought...Anyone?

BUMP!

Please help!

I use soil myself, but maybe this will help -

If your nutes have magnesium in them, they are getting nitrogen.

If you used distilled before, and everything was ok, and you used tap recently, and now things are getting weird, maybe it IS the tap water.. I mean, you wouldn't DRINK it, would you? I wouldn't...

Umm, don't know about overwatering or flushing with hydro, but, those are a couple things you can look in to.. . Hope osme of these ideas help!!

lookslike lockout proolly from the high ph like you said you should she change with on hoursof adjusthingthings in hydro look in the faq or fo to okant problems

I would just flush the plants with water set at 5.5/50 leave them to dry then feed water set at same has above with a little multrive in.plants look too young to be on a full nutrient regament.when you flush them make sure the water is set right and i would bet a pound to a penny they pick up.let the plants dry well the top 2/3 ince then after a couple of weeks start feed at a quarter the strenth you was feeding then slowly increase over a cople of week.try to keep any feed of the plants but give them a spray a couple of times a day with the multithrive and water set at 5.5.also if it is a warm day put them out side nothing can heal like moth nature.good luck let me know how you go on.

distilled is 5.5 to low 6's right out of the bottle with zero ppm. not only does tap have a higher PH but it also contains chlorine and micronutirents at unknown levels that can cause over nute'n before you even add nutes. unknown starting ppm as well.

Thanks to all who helped with a reply!

I went out that day and bought an RO filter, the plants have totally turned around and are doing great! The roots have shot out and are about 6" long and bright white!

Thanks again to everyone for the help!
