Please help with HPS

Here's my problem, my grow space is strictly 3' 4" high x 2' 4" deep, x 3' 8" wide. I want to combine cfl's with a HPs. I plant on growing Northern Light x Shiva.

What kind of Hps should i get? 150w? how many plants can this support.

I dont understand what a ballast is and how these lights work? How much noise do they make. This is going to be a stealth grow so should i just stick with cfl's? what kind of yeild and quality difference is their between adding a 150w hps and not using one?

The yield and quality difference between adding a 150w hps and not using one is just not American. lol no but if you have a hps you will have much higher yields and way more quality. But it all depends if you know hwo to use cfl's

I dont think a 150 is noisy and it will fit your area

a ballast controlls the hps lamp. you plug the lamp into the ballast (small white metal box). U plug the ballast into the wall. It is all pre wired by professionals at the factory, so you dont have to become a electrician and burn your home down! You seriously have the internet and couldnt search for what a ballast is?
