Truth is you have used nutrients before they were in your soil, now that you went off and bought crap you didn't need so you can piss in your soil.

Did you note the last comment about how the soil now factors into correct ph and ppm?
Therefore I can't wait to diagnose your plants deficiencies and toxicities. Good luck pissing in your soil.
Why do you feel the need to comment negatively? You don't know what kind of soil I am using you don't know what or how much nutrients I am going to use or not use. I mainly wanted to just do a baseline test of my tap water. I have a well not city water. And same with soil. So does it make you feel good to just always think you know everything? Unless you have useful information to share about the subject at hand please go answer so one else's thread.

Just ignore him. That's the worst thing you can do to someone with an ego like that. He does it for the attention; to feed the swollen, undulated blob of false self-worth.

I mean just imagine what would happen if I were to mention that I'm a hard-core hydroponic user that runs nothing but Advanced Nutrients! He'd probably wet himself in anticipation of the verbal abuse he'd unleash on me.

Some people are just going to hate. They're going to be dicks to anyone who isn't a drooling disciple of Their Way To Do Stuff, and they'll secretly revile the mindless drones who are. There's just no winning that game, so don't even play.

Grow how you wanna grow. They should be happy that you're happy, but they won't be. You and I can't make them be happy, they have to do that themselves.

I have interpreted the Fox Farm feeding schedule differently.
I think the EC and PPM value are the end result after mixing the nutes as listed. You don't have to measure EC or PPM for adding nutes to soil; you mix per their receipe.

That said, I have read & experienced that their feeding schedule may be too aggressive. I use fox farm soils, and go 3 weeks without adding anything. Then start by adding nutes at 25% of their recommended dosage, then ram up to 50%, etc.

Ignore fox farms feeding schedule. They're going to tell you to feed your plants much more nutrient than they need. Why? Because they want you to use more of their nutrients! More money for them.

Grow big is the "veg" base formula and tiger bloom is the "flower" base formula. Now keep in mind, these fertilizers are not exclusive to their respective flowering stages, i.e. If your plants start to yellow during flower, it's fine to feed them some Grow big.

If you're using an EC meter, Bluelab makes a great truncheon. A safe level for feeding in soil is 1.0 EC. You shouldn't need to feed more, but it's fine to feed less. If your plant look healthy, then they have enough nutrients.
If you don't have an EC meter, a safe bet is 1tsp per gallon.

As far as sledgehammer, kangaroots, and their "bloom booster" powders: don't waste your money. People get way too caught up in this marketing hype. And a lot of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference if these bottles were replaced with water.
Their "Big bud" has things like worm castings, kelp, guano, etc. It's a decent additive, but to be honest if you are using a nice soil mix then you shouldn't need it.

Just remember less is more. Don't water everyday for the sake of watering. Don't try to "make" your plants grow. That's how a lot of people end up killing their babies. Just give it what it needs and let nature take care of the rest.

Just my .02.
