please help new limbs where preflower should be

I'm on dial up so I can't supply pic right now but hope some of the vets can still help. I have 2 plants that instead of showing sex it appears to be growing new limbs while all other plants showing sex. this is a new discovery too me.can someone help me ? should I start cloning this plant or could that be a sign of bad genetics.

I would check for a light leak. although most of the time if there is one it would affect them all but you never know.

Sure, some plants do flower before others and it may be genetics.
