Just wondering what everyone thinks?

400w mh
white widow skunk

4 days since they broke soil

my first two babies died from a few problems - overwatering-too hot
fixed both problems

Cuties! Man, that soil looks dry. What are you using for soil?

im using a "seed starter" soil just a random brand -- the first time i used MG organic and it held wayyyyy to much water, this seems like a much better medium for growing, it is alot lighter.. yeah itz almost time to water, an inch under the soil is still moist so i'l probably wait till tonite to water again

Did u mix anything into the sand, it looks kind of dense, try mixing in perlite or vermiculite with the soil... its very inexpensive and it really helps out alot with drainage and root developement

Hmm.. I'll have to watch out for that.. I'm using MG Organic. What's your humidity at and how often were you watering? I'm curious because I'm a newb, too. I'm giving little drinks every 2-3 days.

i have vermiculite in one of the pots mixed with the soil but then i put a layer of just soil on top . i watered them whenever i thought it was dry which was about once every two days.. i learned alot from the first grow which only lasted about a week in a half..


ps. make sure you have a fan blowing on them.. in my first grow i didnt and i had to lean them up on sticks at one point - but now i have a fan on 24/7 and the stems are 100x stronger

o and my humidity is just over 40 and i water now still about every 2 days
