Plants have yellow and brown leaves read almost all post regarding the issue

I'll start off by saying that this is the most informative site on the web.

2x Og Kush female
Sure to grow as the Medium
2x 5 Gallon Buckets(2x 2liter containers i'll explain later)
Advanced Nutes Micro,Bloom,Grow(also Superthrive)
My water PH is 7.8,PPM is 170
DW setup with air stones
4x 42watt65k(@200watt equivalent CFL)
1x42watt 27k

The pics are dated from good to bad,now i have to say before anyone post there replies i'll explain what i did to help the downfall.I must tell all please do not Drink and Grow(Beer) long story short I dropped my PH meter in my 5 Gallon Res,I had to go wash my hands before I could retrieve it.Instead of recalibrating the meter before use i used it for about 3 days with crazy PH swings. It wasn't until i read a post about calibrating the meter often so I did and ol was I pissed.I used the 7.01 which when i put the meter in,it read 8.9 almost 2 points off.I had just adjusted the ph of both res to 5.6 and when I rechecked it read 3.9 so I must assume that all my ph adjustments for 3 days were off.Now after changing both res and adding 1/4 nutes they are still turning yellow/brown with minimal growth.I have flushed them for 2 days with just PH water and they are still getting a lighter green than the earlier pics(darker green).I now use the 2 liter containers until I figure out what is wrong any thoughts.

well all i can say is if your water ph is at 7.8 thats prob part of your problem that's pretty high try and bring it down to 6
and also its pretty early in there life's to be given multiple nutes or ferts.
your cfl's look to be at the right hight tho about 2-3 inches right?
