From what I gather, most people find soil feeding to be sufficient. The only time I read about people foliar feeding is to treat a deficiency, perhaps to get around nute lockout in the soil as a result of salt buildup.
To me, foliar feeding seems like a lot of work because I have to remove them from the lights. Droplets act like magnifying lenses, causing burn. Maybe you could use a surfactant to reduce beading and burning. But, it still seems a poor return on effort if you have a good soil and feeding what the plants need.
