plant schedule question

Hi All,

I'm a newbie, but I need solid advice on this. I have my first grow going in my veg room under a T5. 15 clones that are about 4 weeks old and are about 5-6 inches tall. Growing well and looking good. Giving them Flora nutes. My problem is this, I'm looking at the calendar and my wife wants to go on vacation over Christmas. Assuming a 55 to 65 day flower cycle, I seem to have 2 options.. get them in flower soon to hopefully harvest before 12/25, or prolong the veg, hire someone to watch my room for the week I am gone, and harvest when I get back. My flower room has 2 1000 watt hps vented lights with HVAC in the room.

Can you tell me what your thoughts are? To get them into flower in the next week seems to be rushing it, but having someone watch my grow room for a week may be rough as I have been told it is alot of work during flower phase.

I'd avoid all issues and risk.. Put em in bloom now I say.... Thats what I would do..

Thanks. Are there any obvious disadvantages to moving into the flower room early? I could keep the HPS lights on veg cycle for a couple of days to speed up veg and get them ready for flower and I can also keep the lights at a safe distance.

Since I've never done this, I am lost.

But I am having fun!

Not at all and by the looks of your pics they are easily ready for flowering imho.. they look great...
