I'm using black gold soil, no nutes yet I got these 2 sour diesels and 2 dairy queens about a week ago I don't know if these problems are from the guy who i got the clones from or what but need help. The new growth looks fine no problems. It's some of the lower leafs that are my concern. As you can see in the pics. there's yellowing of the leaves, spotting and dark brown coloring its just on a few of the leaves and doesn't look to be getting worse but want any advice i can get. I'm just using cfl lights and the temps are 82 when lights on and 70 with them off. thanks in advance guys or ladies:peace::peace::peace::joint::joint::joint:

I'm still learning, but according to Cervantes, chlorosis of the lower plant, begining at the tips and working it's way back is N deficiency. I doubt that your soil is def, but, what's your pH? Maybe u have a lockout?

Pic #3 looks like it's the top that affected tho. That changes everything.

Picture 3 shows that plants problem is a lockout due to pH level. Get your pH right, and keep testing your soil daily until you get it corrected! Check out the internet and see what pH the strain your growing is ideal. Another helpful thing is if you have a smart phone cell phone, they have an app out there for growing issues. Not the best thing, but gives you a good idea what direction to start heading in. It asks you a list of questions of what is wrong and gives you the answer to your problem, and the solution how to fix that problem. It does give a very detailed, full explanation of what going on! Pretty cool to check out, and definately worth downloading. PLUS ITS FREE!

I would highly recommend getting some nutrients into those girls asap! Veg time is a very important time for them! This is the time they will grow, and produce bud forming sites. The healthier and fuller they are the more sites you'll have, which in turn will reward you with a better yield! Try the General Hydroponics Organic Line. They have a full set of nutes in 1 box that will set you from seed to harvest! Has everything you need! It comes with 9 or 10 different bottles of nutes, including root booster, plant food for vegging, plant food for flowering, bud booster, foliage spray, and some really good others! The box is called the ""GO" BOX" and only costs like $30.00. GH nutes seem to do alot better in soil than hydro too!

Hope this helps! If you're really happy with this answer, feel free to click the 6 pointed star there and send some +REP my way!! hahahaha

I see a few problems here-no fan? Heat stress is common/over watering another/if you are feeding you plants and the leaves still yellow you maybe overwatering..

you can't see it in the picture but I do have a small 80mm cpu fan blowing on them. I think it was a nute problem I started giving some alaska brand nutes and the new growth it looking good the affected areas i trimed off so i can tell if it's still an issue.
