Something doesn't add up. They look like they've suffered from excessive heat and low humidity, yet your stated numbers appear to be acceptable. Could it be they're too close to the light?

Plants use up the nutrients in their leaves as they are making bud but this doesn't look like that; they look very spindly. Flushing is a good thing I'm sure. Have you been using 1200 ppm for long?

yes the have out grown my 8ft hi tent and are/were very close to the 400wat hps light. tied them off and away from the light a couple weeks ago. im thinking my temp/humid guage is not working. ill add a humidifier in the tent if its not too late, (week 7)

Wouldn't hurt, but you need to do something about the colas that are too close to the light. The stalk(s) should be malleable enough to tie them down so they're bending a little. One thing I did was make a little hook with duct tape and a zip tie and attached to a side wall so that it pulled the top of my plant away from the light. I made sure it fit very loosely on the cola so I could still rotate the plant every day without the top getting stuck in the hook. Anyway, I'm sure you can think of something similar that would work equally well.

Another thing I'd recommend is putting your thermometer as close to the canopy of your plants as possible, though you might be limited by your thermometer. I use one that is placed outside of my grow tent, but it has a probe with a long cord that I can put almost anywhere inside.

The main thing here is that you move the tops that are too close to the light. Temp and humidity will likely be resolved once you do that. The last thing you want is to actually scorch your bud with that hot bulb.

Problems like this really make the case for using a Cool Tube. I'll be getting one myself by next summer for sure.
