2nd time using Megacrop. Starting to get leaves like this in the middle of the plant. Same thing happened last run towards the end of veg.

Is it Phosphorus defiency or calcium defiency? i cant tell.

Plants are also droopy.

I always check pH. They arent overwatered or underwatered either.

Gave them a good dose of calmag on top of megacrop yesterday in feeding but it doesnt seem to have fixed the problem.

Dumping more stuff on those already overfed plants isn't going to fix anything. You should probably be adding less than more. What else are you feeding them besides the Megacrop?

Just MCs recommended dose with some Botanicare cal mag pro. The medium was pretty dry when i fed it yesterday. im lost at whats causing this droopiness.

I originally thought it was temps going up to 83F but i supplement co2. But I lowered it under 80 now; hasnt changed the droopiness past 2 days.

Im suspecting broad/russet mites now. or maybe light stress and some phosophorus defiency

I see you're growing in rockwool cubes in flood and drain trays. You don't want to let those dry out completely. What do you mean when you fed them yesterday? Are you hand watering? In the background it looks like you have a bunch of other plants all with curled up with dark green leaves. That Botanicare CalMag has a decent amount of nitrogen in it. What pH are you feeding at?

I think you're overfeeding. Adding more isn't going to fix your problems.

ebb and flow. ya i dont let them dry out completely. just half dry. ph is around ~6. always on top of that.

i was suspecting magnesium deficiencies with MC and these HLG LEDs so i added calmag to the recent feedings with the recommended MC dose.

the thing was that they were still droopy even when the hugos were half dry before feeding. so i dont suspect it to be a watering issue.

leaves have also been curling and theres some abnormal top growth.

maybe light stress which ended up bleaching these leaves. or even worse a mite problem.

Damn that sucks. Looks like you've gotten a lot of time and resources invested. I don't grow in rockwool but I was under the impression that most people run it lower than 6.0. Also from what I've heard you need to soak it in a mild nutrient solution pH'd rather low for awhile to stabilize the pH. I don't know how you prepped it and I'm no expert with rockwool just some things I've picked up over the years. Someone with more rockwool knowledge might chime in. I still think you should cut back the the nutrient strength. The way those look I don't see how adding anything more is going to fix anything. Some of those leaves are dark green and shiny. Doesn't look like a lack of nutrients to me.

ya will dial them back in for sure. im trying a bunch of new stuff out this run. new nutes, new lights. was bound to run into some problems.

forgot rule number one of nutrients. never trust the nutrient companies dosage. always start halfway and move up slowly.

could be n tox like you said. gotta wait a few days and see if they readjust themselves hopefully.

yes ph should be around max 5.5 in rockwool.
What's your ec? They also look very stretchy how high is your light?

5.5 that low? why is that? even in veg?

ya its these HLG 550 v2 lights i put them 30-40 inches away at full blast. I think it bleached the leaves so I dimmed it down yesterday

Look well overfed and possibly locked out.

it's probably to high, they look stretchy. Because that's the ph in rockwool, in tomato greenhouses we go down to around 5.2. What's your ec?

EC was 2.1. I followed Megacrops g/l dose this feed which Im now finding out is completely inaccurate relative to their recommended EC.

Im just going to go half dose and move upwards slowly from now on.

So whats the recommended pH for rockwool though? All these years I thought it was 5.5-6.5 because I remember reading on Grodan that was its recommended range
