Plant problem please help!!

We have had these 4 plants going for about 2 weeks and we just changed the water yesterday and added the nutrients and now the roots are looking orange and the tank has a weird smell.

Any help to what this could be would be awesome!

check to see if u have light getting into the res

theres pretty much no light in there. i think it may have something to do with the nutriants maybe a little to much?

im having tha same problem i think its root rot i am n tha process of cleaning mt resi w/bleach and water letting it sit for an hour or so, has well has my tubes and air stones, i read somewhere that i might have to replace my air stones, but i am broke lol so i hope a good soaking will help them, if u get ne tips let me kno also and i will do tha same, peace
