Plant problem and plant inquiry

Hey whatup guys? Thursday here and this is my first post. Attached are 4 pics of my plant. My first question: If there IS something wrong with the leaves, what could it be. Secondly: Is it safe to start flowering yet, and if so, should I put it on a 12/12 cycle? Thanks so much for any replies. For reference, the strain is "pure kush".:peace:

it looks like a moisture problem, over watering definetly... you should water the plants every 2-3 days for best results, because the soil will obsorb the water quicker than the roots can.

what kinda lighting you have for it???

and for the watering... it doesn't have a strict schedule like every 2-3 days... it really depends on your soil... only water when you can stick your finger down an inch in the soil and i is dry... easy rule of thumb!!!

and i'd wait a week or so for it to recover from the shock of over-watering before you put it into flower... don't want any chances of herm now!!! so just wait till its nice and healthy looking and then throw it into 12/12 i say....

what kind of light are you using? either it's way wrong, or your plant has been exposed to severe underwatering many times (no wilts or rotten leaves guys, the only time i've seen stick plants with no foliage is when a clone goes through drought after its' been rooted and is trying to veg out. wish i had a pic to show you...)

please elaborate; what kind of light, soil, how often you water/feed..... thanx!

lol, i'm not saying that that is what it is, i need more info; i'm merely trying to put out what i've seen with my own eyes... that plant reminds me of a dg clone i forgot about and left in the yard for four weeks with nothing but rain to water it... same kind of growth, little node veg, top leaves are stunted.... looks identical...

but, i could be wrong, he may be using an incandecent bulb (which has a similar effect, but it would seem there would be more stretching if that were the case.

from the beginning, all i've been using was a little 20 watt spiral flourescent. The soil is standard potting soil i got at lowe's. i water it with a miracle grow formula.

welll first off

MORE LIGHT

lots more

like, atleast three or four more of those 20w ones, or get higher wattages if you can... they'll produce better buds...

just teasing by the way about the lights before... all in good fuN!

but what is yiour watering schedule for the plant?

overwatering

don't water tomorrow

dont water again until you can stick your finger an inch deep in the soil and its dry (not even moist, it should be fairly dry)

and i think in a week or so it'll perk back up

see the problem prolly is...
soil is too wet and the roots are retarded or maybe even have some rot from sitting in water constantly... they need O2 to grow!!!

so you need to let air get back to the roots by letting the soil dry out in between waterings

also, there isn't really a need for the foliar spraying... really your just inviting some burn from the water drops on leaves concentrating the light like little magnifying glasses...

and finally, you probably don't need to be feeding with the mg ever time you water... otherwise the unused nutes will buildup in the soil and really hurt your plants later on...

hope this helps!!!

WAY more light.. and when you get the light put your plants within 2-3 inches of it (fluorescents and or cfl's) if you flower with that 22watt your plant is gonna grow you a nice fat joint. I've never used cfl's but from what i've read you prolly want 2 lights at least 26 watts each (maybe read some of the cfl grow to see which ones give off what spectrums) at homedepot get a 2 bulb splitter thing.. (seen it in the journals) get something to use as a reflector for them (i've seen pop cans used.. pretty cool) the splitter from what i've read should be under 5 bux and the lights would be under 10 for 2 i think. you may need to water even less (than every other day)if you dont have fans and lights drying your plant out.. i water every other day and i have lots of heat from light and lots of air from fans. you may only have to water once a week (for what we know of your temps etc, use the finger trick suggested also just pick your pot up the plant weighs virtually nothing and dirt when dry weighs very little feel the pot when its dried out.. then again the first time you water it afterwords (let er dry right out then give it water til the water just starts to seep out the bottom (plate or something underneath
lastly air.. are they getting some air.. like a fan or something a fan blowing on your plants will strengthen the stems

Sun, Water, Air

Take a look at my grow (i'm still learning daily)
