Plant light help

im starting my grow and i need to know which lights 2 use...money is an issue..i am an electrcian so wiring and wire saftey is not an issue...im planing on having 2 or 3 plants..i hear using fluorescent lights will work for vegging and hps or mh will work for flowering? any info like how many lumens/watts/lights needed to grow 2 or 3 plants will be usefull...thank you

ok cfls are ok... mh for vegg and hps for flowering. but you can use hps through all of the grow. they are the best lights to use. hps are more expensive but ar woth it and then some. bigger yields thicker denser buds. go out and buy a 150 watt or 250 watt hps. worth it dude. if possible get even bigger or just go out and buy the wole system save up and get it http://www.hydrowholesale.com/mm5/m...dro&Product_Code=DSTR250&Category_Code=DSSTAR

Buy a couple 24" T-5 fluorescence fixtures and veg under them. Then use a vented hood on a 400watt HPS for flowering.
I use a 400watt in my closet and it works great! I usually flower a 12 to 16 smaller plants on a rotational cycle i.e. 4 clones in, 4 mature plants harvested on a regular 2 week cycle. Hope this helps, Good Luck & Happy Gardening! GrowIT! :weed:
