Plant issue ... can't figure out what's wrong help please

So lately (the last week and a half) when I have my plants under my 200 watt CFL(at night ) the plant begins to droop and looks like crap, but when I put it in the window in the daytime she stands right up and looks awesome . I have a bunch of assorted vegetable plants under the same light and they're not having any issues at all.

My CFL is about 1.5-2" from my plant and it doesn't feel that warm(fan blowing near it also to cool it down) so I'm not sure if it's heat stress or not .
I've been out of the game for a while, had a couple previous successful grows about 4 years ago but haven't grown since .

I started this plant in a peat pellet, and then transplanted it to miracle grow starting soil (0.3-0.3-0.3 ) . This strain is an AK-48, I started all my previous AK's in this soil and has awesome results in the past , never any issues like this .

Some leaves also look discoloured and even a bit spotted from what I can see.

I try to only water when the soil dries out a fair bit(But im careful to never let it starve of water )

I planted all my OG kush auto/ more AK48's in this soil , germed with paper towel this time, so I hope they end up looking healthier Than this AK .

I just started LST'ing a few days ago, these issues seem to have begun after I transplanted it into this soil, but like I said years ago I sprouted10 AK-48's in This exact soil in the past and had amazing results they were the healthiest baby seedlings I had ever started .

I use tap water , I check the PH and it seems to always be at a constant 6.2-6.5 which I'm pretty sure is good for soil right?

If anyone can help me shed some light on what's going on I'd really appreciate it , thanks RIP members .
The first few photos I posted are pics of the plant after spending a night under the CFL, the next ones are after spending some time in the sunny window sil. Looks much healthier to me.

Really hope all my little guys I just germed don't end up like this one

Light is 2inch or two foot? Anyway it looks like a ph issue, what medium is it? 6.2 is a bit low imo fir a soilless mix, do you ph it? Definitely not overwatered or underwatered? Did you ph the medium you used before you re potted,? Not a good idea to mix mediums, unless it's the same make I. E. Light mix to all mix

When place them in sunlight it perks up. Then when you put it under your 200w cfl they droop.
Because the sun is much stronger and intense than the cfl.
Ph level is fine.

More light !

Is it an actual 200 watt cfl or equivalent?
She's a 200 watt'er my friend, check it out. Didn't even know they made them this big until I saw it in my local grow shop

Please excuse my ghetto ass reflector setup lmao It's a homemade one made with a piece of duct piping . Didn't have funds for a reflector at the time and saw a DIY reflector . Didn't turn out so great but better than nonreflector I guess .
Also I'm only using this light to veg the plants before they go outdoors in 2-4 weeks time.

It's going to be legal to grow here in Canada on July 1st pretty stoked . 4 plants per household though , not too bad

It's miracle grow seed starting soil, a soil mix with perlite with a 0.3-0.3-0.3 NPK ratio.
Someone told me that it could be from the nutes in the soil, but would such a small amount really harm the seedling in that way ?

Also what about the spotting on the leave in that picture i posted ? It feels like she isn't very healthy. Last week one of the leaves felt wettish and darkened and then a few days later it crisped up and browned (one of the first set of leaves, as you can see in one of the photos )

No I didn't PH the soil at all I never even thought about that nor have I ever done it before. Does that consist of flushing the soil with PH'ed water ? What Ph do you reccomend for my soil mix?

More light? I'm confused cause in the past when I grew those 10AK's in the same exact soil, I used only one 13 watt tube CFl and they didn't droop whatsoever and looked healthy AF and this thing is like 17 times the wattage (200 watts)
I obviously don't have even close to as much knowledge as you do mate, but I wouldn't think it doesn't have enough light to stay healthy during veg?

Thanks for the replies guys I really appreciate it

Light is 2 inches . It doesn't get that that hot , I have a fan blowing on it I can stick my finger on the light and it takes 3-5 seconds before I start feeling the heat . I was always told to put CFL's as close to the plants as possible without burning them.
Maybe I should try raising it a few inches just to see if it helps?

Thanks

All i have to say from my experience is miracle grow soil is bad. Its terrible and would never recommend my seedling done exactly what you are talking about one of them had spots then cripsed up and died then the second one lasted a little longer but eventually joined her sister and crisped up went brown then died lmao. This is from my experience so i would recommend switching soil. It might not be the cause of your problem but i am just letting you know from what i have experienced.

As above. 200 w 2 inch away is close imo, I'd deffo recommend moving it to 6 inch, I use 300 w CFL And have them further. Miracle grow not so great. Check your water ph if you can just to be sure

Fuckkkk really ?
I germed my seeds with paper towel and planted them yesterday, none have sprouted thus far. Tomorrow I can pick up some pro mix, is it reccomended I carefully dig them up and replant them or is that a bad idea and I should just leave them?

It's all the seeds I have , OG kush autos and AK48's 10 in total, I'd be so mad if they all died omg

Alright thanks man much appreciated

I've actually never done a PH check other than checking the PH of the water I am using , do I just test the run off water ? Also what PH is optimal for soil, isn't it between the 6.2-6.8 range
Thanks

Yea. I knew they made them. They even make dual spectrum ones by Feliz.

The mg seed starter is fine. Even the strong mg soil is fine if you know how to use it. Only reason I don't is mg doesn't remove heavy metals.

Raise the light up. A couple inches for a couple hundred watts is too close.

Not sure where you heard it will be legal to grow. Actually manitoba and quebec are enforcing a zero tolerance policy to home growing, not even 1 plant will be allowed!

Move the light back a bit to like 6 or 8 inches and see if she perks up after a few hours. Also, don't over water with the MG soil if it has the time released food in it.

I wanted to know the ph of your plain water. Optimal is 6.5 , as long as your plain water is about 6.3-7.3 plain, I'd give just plain water until you start adding nutes, that's when I start to ph. Don't bother checking run off

You can repot, very very carefully, get a light nuted soilless mix

Justin trudeau(our prime minster ) is legalizing marijuana in Canada as of July 1st. They will be selling it in LCBO stores and for ersonal consumption 4 plants per household will be allowed . Look it up online it's 100% true man, he's been working on legalization since he got in office . I don't agree with the legalization in most ways , but hey it's happening regardless.

In Ontario it will be legal and they're starting a trial run selling marijuana in several stores down south

Oh okay thanks. My PH has been anywhere from 6.1-6.3 which I would think shouldn't be causing me any issues right ? It's just plain tap water

I think I may try that.

Bio Bizz light mix is good. Also Canna terra professional is basically a soiless medium if you want that
I was thinking about using pro-mix as I'll be growing in that eventually. Going to be an organic grow , partly because I won't be able to stop and feed her nutes everyday and because my last grow was just plain soil and bat guano and my plants were healthy AF with no Deficiences the whole grow and I loved it the bud was nice. During that grow I grew one bubbleicious from nirvana and I was lucky enough to score the pink phenotype Was the prettiest plant I've ever grown and the smoke was awesome
