heres what happened-- i watered plants last night and one fell over, stake and all. it is about 4ft tall and 7 weeks into flowering. i imagine it was all the added weight and then water got the soil wet, then it took a dive. bucket stayed put. i kind fo freaked for about 2sec. i grabbed the plant, straightened it up, and drove the stake back into the soil. i didnt hear a pop like the stalk cracked, and saw nothing above soil either. i hope just the root gave way to the weight but didnt break. would a taproot be able to withstand something like that? i checked on it in about 1hr then 11 hrs. it looked like it started leaning more today. the light is off now so i really dont want to go in and check it out with a flashlight for awhile. should i just take the bitch down and start trimming???? or can it make it for a week or two, any similar experience out there?

I doubt that it hurt the roots.

Stake it up from three directions so it is sturdy and it should make it till harvest.
