Plant dying HELP ASAP!!!

recently my buddie lysergicbuds420 moved his plants over to my place with my plants and now some of the leaves have turned yellow and then they got brown spots and curled up and died. This morning i had to clip 5 leaves off one plant and if we dont figure out whats wrong we will continue to lose more. For lights we are using two four foot fixtures one has cool white bulbs and the other fixture has warm color bulbs, then i have three little condensed florescent bulbs that are 60w each. i do have a time on them and the lights are kept on for 17 hours then i let them sleep for 7 hours. I dont use any chemicals and the soil is all organic, but something to know is that his plants were damaged a little while back because they were thrown away, that is the whole reason we brought them to my place. i also keep the temperature at about 73 to 76 degrees and the humidity is around 40%. What do you mean they were thrown away? Did his mommy find his grow? Did his girlfriend or wife tear them up? It would help if you had some pic's. If they were pulled from the soil the roots maybe damaged. Are the stems bent or damaged? Was the soil dried out? How far are your lights? How big is your area?

Put up some more info if you want to get real answers.....
