Sorry guys, this might be in another thread but don't have the time to search....anyway, this plant curls up into a lettuce/cabbage ball type of thing at night. Lights out is at midnight and about 11pm it starts to curl downward....weird....shouldn't be cold, we have a well built room with excellent temp control...we have another plant going also but it's a diff strain...no cabbaging going on with it....please help...

its normal for plants to droop down at night when they arent soaking up the UV. dont worry about it unless its looking the same when the lights are on.

heres a pic of the beginning of the curl process to give you an idea...after an hour or two though, it's far more advanced and curled downward....also....don't know if it has anything to do with it, but whats causing the yellow spots between the veins?? thanks all

yeah i wouldn't be too worried about it at night....but it starts a couple hours before lights out....until morning

i have the same problem but im using a continuous drip system not the air pumped dripper,i thought it was over cuz my roots werent geting enough oxygen as i have a lack of an air stone so i put some h2o2 onto my res and it seems to have helped, ill check again tomorow

It;s normal on some strains. I had some haze going and freaked when I look in with the lights off, the plants looked like they were dying. Waited for the light to come on and they looked great again. Like I said some strains do it, some don't.

like you said there is little oxygen getting to the roots, that is a problem it makes it hard for the plant to absorb nutrients.

WHAT DOES THE h2o2 DO FOR THEM? AND HOW MUCH DO U USE?
it breaks down in the root zone and releases oxygen, this is good for nice healthy root growth and it helps the plant absorb nutes better
as for how much it depends on the percentage, in the pharmacy its 3-5% hydrogen peroxide but in a hydro store you can get up to 35% h2o2 (also called food grade hydrogen peroxide)
