Plant Almost Done But Still Small?

Ok so i started a clone like 5 months ago and i toped it 12 times and lst'd it the whole time i was topping, I was using 6x 26watt cfls to grow it, i started to flower with cfls, but 3weeks in i bought a new 150 watt hps. the plant is filling out alot better because of the light but, the pistils are turning brown and orange. Half are brown, 5% are orange and rest are white. still not receding yet but maturing in color.

LST and topping are grow styles to limit the size of the plant in most cases or to maximize light usage. I have never grown with cfls but have vegged some large plants using T-5 flouros. The sooner you induce flowering, the smaller the plants will be. I usually veg to 18-24" before inducing flowering.

How long has this plant been on 12/12 light cycle?
You'll see pistils start to die well before your plants are done,
and you'll get new pistils still growing throughout the flowering period.
Pistils alone do not tell the whole story.
