I'm planning new grow and would like some advice..
My last grow. 3x3 x 6 tent. 400w hps. 5 plants. Yield around 9oz of qaulity bud.
Issues: I have no need for 9oz of bud
Space is a concern since I live in apartment
Chances of getting caught are high since you never know when the maintenance guy will show up. This is legal state, but I imaging my landlord would serve me papers to quit.
Heat is tough to dissipate due to the design of this complex.
Current goal is to grow just 1 pant at a time and stay as a hobbyist. (Soil) 3 Gallon Pot. Probably grow autos or fem seeds. I have a whole stash of interesting genetics.
I purchased a 2x2 x 4 tent. This is pretty easy to hide in a closet if need be or just toss a blanket over it.
I want to go LED. Reasons being that I don't want to have to dissipate so much heat and I will have limited space. My hoods really would fit well into a 2x2 x 4.
I've read a lot about LED's. MArs Hydro seems like a decent brand. I'm not expecting to set the world on fire, but it could help me meet my goals for under 150 bucks.
I'm trying to decide if I would want the Mars11 or the reflector series. Recall that I only have 4ft of space. I should mention that I always LST or mainline for a nice even canopy.
COB wold be nice, but I'm not sure I can light that space for under $150.
Any thoughts on the light? Something that runs relatively cool and doesn't take much space while also producing hard nugs.. CFL/HID is out of the question... maybe 4 t5's running vertically would work.
