Ok so this is a plan i have that i wanna run by the community to see if im on the right track so far. I have 3 20 gallon dark bule tubs. My plan is to make a drip fed system using 2 of the 3 tubs. Im going to fill them about 6 inches from the top with water put a shared pump between them to adgitete the water and feed my drip lines through out the entire procress. Im going to cut 6 holes for containers. Now im not sure if that number of holes are correct for the space there gona need between them???? so plan is 6 containers in the lid thats 22 inches long by 18 inches wide by 16 inches deep. 6 plants for that container ok or how many?? My goal is to produce a pound plus dried out of these 2 tubs. Is that unrealistic?? Im going by the general rule of thumb if all goes well in soil a oz a plant is basic expications for a min/med skilled grower. so 6 holes for containers that hold the plants. im going to use some rocks for hydroponic groing to hold plant down in container. Sound ok so far??
Now the hard part the 2 tubs are gona be drip lines Im going to use the 3 container to hold my water im going to be replenishing my tubs with once they start to drink more water. So ill have a 20 gallon tub pre P.H balanced and pre measured nute. so everything remains the same through out as far a the new water being pumped to replenish and with a pump to agitate reserve and a pump to pump water in the 2 other tubs as needed. Ill find the right schedule once its going.. Hows that sound?? Potential problems you may see for me?? Im using 600 watt mh/hps lights on 12 plants that is if the consense is it would be ok to put 6 plants in that size tub.. any information will help. i read alot about this and think im ready to give it a try.
