What is the latest that the pk booster should be used?

So we stop at end of 6 or beginning... I’m in 5 going to 6 Monday...do I continue... sorry newbie here sir!!!also the molasses can it be used together or would it be a substitute for the pk booster

I would stop the PK 2 weeks before planned harvest and molasses is only for feeding bacteria, are you supplementing them because if not then all that you are doing is feeding nasty pathogens instead.

I’m not feeding molasses... I just thought that the blackstrap was used with its hi potassium level used as a booster as well instead of high dollar pk boosters...

Stopping it 2 weeks before harvest is much better advice then :
Many genetics need more then 8 weeks, especially if you are counting 8 weeks from 12/12, instead of 8 weeks from when the plant actually shows flowers.

Many new growers don't realize that. They think everything is done in 8 weeks from 12/12, or whatever guideline the breeder gave for length of time. They don't realize how different plants can be, and that flowering doesn't start until flowers are forming.

Most fall for the industry blurbs like 7 week flowering with their A+B and plants need vitamins and such and growers these days are more interested in shiny bottles with colorful labels rather than learn about a plants cycle and how it ticks. A dialed garden and a plant dont need or want a PK boost.

I don't use any boosters. I also try to help new growers learn about the plants so they can understand them better. You are right though many just don't care. They would rather turn out mids then learn how to grow dank.

I care sir... seriously I do... I do understand that these plants have in fact survived without the help of a human... but as a new grower it is easy to buy a product because of the claims... and one not knowing any better...
There are something’s I need to learn.. for instance... the difference between nute burn and nute deficiencies...also the natural fade of a plant...as its ripening...
I want to let the plant tell me...
So for my next runs I will TRY and let the plant tell me what it needs..

I figured you cared because you were asking for help
. I was just talking very generally with budman. I hate deficianies too man, even after many years of growing and hundreds of plants, they can still be tricky.
