My friend has about 6 plants all in pots in this creek by our house. I told him it wasnt a good idea because of all the things that could happen to them, including if they got washed out. He did it anyways and to my surprise look half way decent, whatchu guys think? I thought they were kinda cool pix

not bad lookin but the nutrients and parasites im suprised havent just claimed that plant

The creek actually flows pretty fast for how small it is and he used it for water and doesn't adjust the ph so I'm really surprised there lookin that good

yeah im suprised they dont get fucked up from the water being that high on the pot all the time! or did it just rain? because im guessing thers holes in the bottom of the pots right?

We actually are in the middle of a drought so figure how high the water would be after a good rain but yes they are holes in the bottom of the pots

thats actually a good idea, theres really no trail left from visiting the plants, just gets coverd in water, i like

yeah if i were you i would advise your freind, roots NEED oxegen, and being constantly drownded like that the roots will start to rot, and the plants will die, he did a great job so far, and they are looking amazing, but if he wants them to live till harvest he is going to need to move them out of the water.

I'll try and tell him but he's pretty stubborn, he also puts strong nutes on the plants everytime he visits them. The smaller ones have a lot of nute burn but he seems to think it's not his doing that is killing them. Oh well

when the lower leaves start to wilt and droop, then rot and die for no apparent reason, thats when you know you got root rot, and i don't know if you can save them after that, im not saying you definatly will, just watch out for the signs.

that is amazing lol, your friend is loco for even thinking about doing that, but somehow it works. Maybe that creek has super oxygenated water or something.

They look like they are gonna be gettin' top-heavy soon times...
a good gust of wind, and by his next visit they may be further down the creek than they are now :-?
just a thought...

Yeah I didn't know people wanted a update but I will for sure get back there with my buddie some time this week to take some more pix. DMX

I seen people do simlar thing but used a big burlap bag full of dirt and paced it at the edge of a swamp. he lest it and came back for only the harvest. the buds were as long as my arm!!
