hey i think my plant is finaly growing some hairs. not sure cause its only at one node, (2dn one from the top) check it out.DSC00907.jpghope fully it is. they're only showing on this plant i planted 2 white w. at the same time.
 
nice!! i just hope the other one turns out too, they were bothe feminized seeds, but its not always 100%. I had topped the other one in july, because bugs ate the top off, could that be the reason why its not showing yet? Or is it just genetics or what not.
 
strains differ when they show sex. My plants showed around July 1, they just started really flowering this week. This time of year they should really start to take off. Hope you have a great harvest.
 
That pic shows a preflower and it means your plant is sexually mature.

It does not mean its flowering yet. Flowering does not start until you can see Pistils on the growing tips of each branch.

so if i wanna start using bloom nutes, i should wait aprox. 2 weeks after i see pistils on every branch tip?
 
The stretch is over about a week after you see buds start to form. You need the extra N before buds show up and through the stretch. Then after buds start to grow you give them just P and K to feed the flower stack.

If you are seeing Hairs and Balls then ya you have a Hermie. That is what you risk when you use Feminized Seeds. And if you are seeing male preflower at the same time as female preflower then its a FULL BLOWN hermie. Not just a male banana pod producing one.
 
When the male pods are closed they are still developing, if any have burst open then the pollen can be carried by the wind or bugs and pollinate your females.

If a female gets pollinated you can tell by looking at the hairs on the buds, they will die and change color much sooner then if it was not pollinated.
