I got a few plants from my buddy a acouple days ago, Last night i found out they are all trannies, They are still small but i think he had them already in the flowering stage but they didn't really have any good size buds on them. Right now i put the light on 20/4 because i want them to be bigger and stronger before growning bud but it seems like the pistols are like burning up on top, Does anyone know if thats supposed to happen or what the cause is.

Help is greatly appreciated

for one the red bulb does nothing 2 they're prolly doing that because once htey're in flowering u cannot take them out of that cycle so... u prolly are killing them that plant is messed up now sorry bro shouldnt have taken them out of the 12/12 cycle

pistils hang out of the calyx, the calyx is the bud, in flowering it swells and if you have seeds it will rupture and drop the seeds, if no seeds then it just swells and the pistils change color late flowering.

Actually people have plants flower then reveg them. This one strain, when ever I clone it, it form a lot of little hairs. Then after I transplant it and feed it a few times they stop growing and she's full veg.

I've also had plants with pop corn buds beginning to form in April, by May the light cycle forced her back into veg.

If you're full blown into flowering and have cola's you might be at the point of no return.

If anything grow the seeds to maturity so you have a nice seed bank of your own.

Sorry Prod but a calyx isn't the bud. A bud is simply a flower cluster.

To the original poster - don't bother trying to re-veg, and then growing out hermaphrodites. Start over with new seed

Were the plants hermies when they were given to you or by chance did you first change the light cycle to the 24/0 you went to and then you spotted them turn hermi?

Once in flower if you shorten the period of darkness to less than 12 hours, or just have light leaks during hours of darkness, expect hermies.

You said the pistils seem to be burning on the top. Is that as in an actual drying out/burning or as in the pistils turning brown and receding?

If it is the second it is most likely a sign that pollination has occurred.

When pistils darken and recede before the very end of the flowering stage of growth that normally means your gals have become impregnated.

Well you see they are still very very small, i dont even know why he put them in flower stage because you would just have to trhow them away after harvest but anyway the plants are still small and dont have any but yet well all i can see is those hairs and i guess i have flowers also but they haven't opened yet,
