Pistil Thickness

Here's a quick question for the pros. I have two plants presumably from the same strain. One of them has thicker pistils than the other. Is this an indication of anything special or important?

Not really. The pistils aren't the ones that produce the resin glands anyway. It's the calyxes.

Funny you brought this up. I'm growing 4 Nirvana Ice feminized and 3 of them had really thick pistils and one had really thin ones.
It just depends on the pheno.

I figured it didn't matter. I just have a friend who thinks one of his is "special".

Well, I guess you never know! Tell your friend to keep hopin' and hell, maybe she will turn out to be extra special! There's nothing like gardening with high spirits.
