A Couple of days. I usually soak a sterile bandage with PhD water. Put seed, fold in half and place in a zip lock bag in a warm dark place. They normally get a tap root in 24 hours I then put in 11 litre pot and they break the surface in a day or so

It's better practice to germinate the seed outside the pellet in some way to ensure the seed is viable.
