Pinching

Any success with pinching to encourage nutritional uptake in the stems? I looked at this method but wasn't sure if it cause too much stem growth but liked the idea of the nodules the method creates to open channels to the leaves for calcium, K, potash etc?

sure, have noticed a difference when I break a stem , ive made a small wound but didn't notice. I don't do it regularly
