Pinching top of plants???

Is it ok to lightly pinch the tops of plants once a day to cut off nutes so that the bottom of the plant can keep up with the rapid growth?

it will slow the vertical growth of your plant...also known as "super-cropping"

Thats ok but I dont think it would cut off or slow the nutes to the top of the plant. If anything the plant will probably try to take up more nutes to help heal itself.

thats nuffin like supper cropping.... its good to do that but it actually promotes growth to the nug above it not the plant below... the nug above will use harmones to recover resaultin in a bigger colla, and not stop nutes from going up there and being distributed to the rest of ur plant... damage is a good way to beef ur plant up thats y u here stories of ppl puttin a nail threw the stem of there plant and such.. thats also y ppl suppercrop, cuz damage creates bulk and strengh... u know the sayin, "if it dont kill u it makes u stronger"??? i wouldnt do it once a day either... perhaps a real good 1 at week 2-3 and one agn at 4-5... and its not fimming either... thats totaly diff as well unless u r pinching the actual tip top which i presume ur not and jus the stem below the tip top rite?? but either way, fimming is removing the tip top and not pinching it

FIMming involves actually removing a small part of the new growth. I thought what he was wanting to do is more like supercropping.

u r rite.. u remove the new growth and supercroping is pinchin and bending at the bottem of the branch to grow it horizontaly to promote more growth "above" ur pinch/bend... it allows shoots at the base of the nodes to grow vertical and be come tops.. it evens out ur canopy and allows u to fill empy spots in ur grow room so ur surface area is maximized as well as ur lights... if done rite it looks like a SOG
