My light for my 36"x20" tent
I made the frame modular so I can expand it to a 3x3 or a 3x5 tent later.
Aluminum purchased from https://www.metalsupermarkets.com/ almost half the price of Home depot

If I crank it up to full power I'm still less than 100%
Going to add some Far Reds to a center strip to put the girls to sleep faster.

Does anyone supplement with monos for added reds and uv? I recently added the 8 photo red, 8 620-630 red and 2 uva to my fixture ( pictured above) and was wondering if anyone has done anything similar and what their results were?
I added a far red puck to my flower light. I think it really helps put the girls to sleep. Going to add far red chips to my latest build. Waiting for those new pucks from growmou5 to be instock at rapid then I'll place my order for the reds

Very cool thread, I'll add my garbage:

I am using 5 unbranded no-name chinese "full spectrum" 70w COB chips that cost under $5 each. Most bare chip, one I am experimenting with lensed.

With the 60 degree lens I can cover a 10" diameter area with ~65k lux with good penetration at a distance of less than 10".
With the bare cobs standing alone I can get ~45k lux across a ~1 square foot area.

I'm not sure what I prefer, I think bare may be the better choice.
The frames are just 3d printed, I wanted to enclose everything and the frames allow me to attach the lens easily.

4/5 lights are wired in parelell and are powered by a single cheap "600 watt" CV/CC power module, running at 34 volts.
Which is powered by a cheap 24v DC power supply.
