Pictures of Overwatering vs. Transplant Droop

I wouldn't suggest doing this unless you have a lot of extra ladies in your veg/clone area, which I just so happen to have right now.

The first and second picture are of a clone that has been overwatered. I was trying to have that be the only symptom showing. She started new growth in the cloner and had a healthy root ball when transplanted. So what did I do to overwater? I watered her every day instead of waiting until she was dry to add water, it's that simple. I also could have done it by making a cup without sufficient drainage. See how the leaves are curled inward on themselves and also drooping? If you were to feel them they would be faintly rubbery and not brittle. They do not feel dead.

The clone on the right in the third picture is the over watered clone, the clone on the left is the healthy clone. See how the healthy clone has broad leaves that are full figured and not curled on themselves? See how the edges and tips of the overwatered clone are curled in or down?

The fourth picture is a little girl who is just unhappy from her transplant two days ago, they can look pretty sad for the first few days in a new pot and this is normal. I know that she has not been over watered because of experience with watering transplants in that size pot, but I know by looking because her leaves are drooping, but not curled in on themselves, if I touched them they would just feel like healthy leaves. Can you transplant without seeing the effect on the plant? Yes, but you want to be sure that root ball is broken up, so seeing some droopage for a couple days is not bad.

In that third picture, see the one burnt tip on the healthy clone? See the one drooping leaf? These are things that just happen to healthy plants and, unless present on a large scale, do not need to be worried over.
