DrKiz Well-Known Member Jul 8, 2020 #3 Yeah springtails probably. They are bennies basically. If so you'll see them pop around on the top of your runoff too skittering around. I think they eat dead roots, etc. Nothing to be concerned about. I have them every coco grow.

Dead leaves that fall off and you miss them etc. anything that decays will feed springtails. I have seen large populations of springtails cause problems with younger plants though.
