They look fine mate, as long as theyre not falling over. like i said just bury the stem on the first potting on.

You could use your 400w soon as well.
 
Again, not to worry too much, the purple stem is a P deficiency, seedlings use lots of P when initially growing roots, it should sort itself out after a couple of weeks and definately after the first re-pot, its very common.

Would be a better idea.

10 is a bit too many for one 400 but will be fine for the first month or so, plus you can use the flouro tubes as supplimentary side lighting. Youl reduce the amount of plants when you get rid of the males anyway.
