Hi SKUNK

thanks for all the great pictures!!

your babies are really stretching and you need to put a stop to the STRETCHING..... NOW..

You need to lower the light.. if you are using Fluorescent bulbs, bring them to 1 inch or less from the tops of your plants..

if you are using HID lighting.. you need to bring the light about 12-20 inches from your plants and put a fan blowing on the area between your plants and the BULB..

stretching can lead to spindly plants, broken branches and all around poor growth..

i look foward to more pictures!!

Your advice has been put to use with immediate results... after a disaster. The old bill locked me up, unrelated to my little project and held me for three days, in which time every single plant wilted. My fast acting mate, sherlock, quickly logged onto this site and searched for advice. He didn't know my handle so had to scan through looking for someone who had suffered the same problem. He found it and set up the rig on his own. Meanwhile my girlfriend with some knowledge of me searched through the memberlists finding my handle and deleting all incriminating pic's. Good girl. Yesterday afternoon my mate met me outside the police station to tell me that every plant had wilted but that he'd done something about it and hopefully it'd worked. It had and the plants are now standing proud and thickening up nicely. I got home and read your e-mail and to my surprise found that we he had done everything your e-mail said to do. So thanks for the help Gnome and thanks for the respect points too. We've got two 400w MID either side a 400w HPS, feeding an organic fertilizer with a ph of 6- 6.5
