Hello RIU.

Another problem has come to surface and I think its time to react.

Its grown in 70/30 soil/perlite. Gold Label Special Mix.

Age 3wks in veg
82-84f light on
45% rh

One of my plants did show signs of being dark green with twisted, deformed leaves but I thought ”what the heck” but now Im seeing slightly same things on the other plant.

The newer growth is noticable darker shade of green with almost ”black” spots. They feel very different, thicker and rougher. Edges are weird, doesnt look like last fan leaves. Also noticed some brown spots on one leaf. Growth also gotten stagnated.

I havent feeded them anything but plain water with a minor run off.

Only thing I have today is Sensi Bloom A+B which should be heavy with P but I dont know if thats the right way.

I know its hard to spot by ”first glimse” at the pictures but if you open the ”entire picture” I think its very clear something is wrong here.

Please help

Ok, I think this is a rookie mistake. Please tell me what you think.

I found the ”’moisture stress”-thread and this seem to be a case of over-fertilizing from the soil and it has nutrition and I searched other experience stunt/deformed veg

Or, its a salt buildup that has gotten worse because I afraid to over water. Therefore I havent had enough run off water.

I think thats most likely in this stage and I have

- copper stains
- deformed new growth on both plants
- Darker, thicker, ”less width” and ”hard” leaves. It just seem cramped up and when I read that salt can pull moisture from the plant or that the plant try to correct it by itself it kinda fell to place.

What do you think of this?
