Ph?

lemon/lime juice lowers it, less than a tablespoon per gallon takes mine from 7 to 6.2
true but it wont stay stable tried it myself ended up breaking out the check book and buying up and down for about 10 bucks i dont see the point in lemon juice and shit when up and down is so cheap

this question should be irrelevant unless your plants are having problems. Do your plants look healthy with no discoloration and you are satisfied, dont fix whats not broken aye?

AGreed^^^^PH'ing your nutrition soultion is second in ph hieracrchy. The 1st and most accurate PH reading would be the actual reading of the soil itself, 2nd would be the nutrient solution, and third, but least valuable would be the runoff. Like Silicity said, dont fix it if its not broken....Unless you have money for quality PH meters, stick with what you got now, watch your plants closely, and let them tell you when you messing up.

I usually use muratic acid, 1 drop in a gallon reduces my PH from over a 7 to 6.3, hell don't even know if muratic acid is ok to use. Anyone else chime in on using acid to bring down the PH.

Advanced nutrients PH DOWN is the BEST S ever. It says its 75% phosphoric acid. I have no problems, and its potent, I've owned the same small bottle for almost a year. Way stronger than GH PH down or up IMO Thats what I switched from. I gotta imagine ur alright poptop.

Check your run off what you pour in isn't what comes out you may water with ph of 7 but the soul drops it to a 5
