PH- Your Fave Way To Keep Level and Test

What is your favorite way to test PH and how do you keep it level?

Soiless, soil, and hydroponics......

Fo Dro a ph meter and get good nutes that have buffers and good ph up/down. Try gh GMB dey have good buffers in them i use avd. nutes gmb and sensi and they have good buffers too. This makes it stay at a good range fo a long time.

I dont check my soil I only check the nute ph before i water and feed.

What kind of meter do you use? An electronic one or the inexpensive from the hardware store?

I use a hanna elect ph meter, but you could use da drop tester one it doesn't really matter bra as long as its in da green you good. Is dis gon be ya first grow?

This is my second one. The first time I was lucky enough to have a friend who had an electronic meter. Basically the last time I had used a lot of dough to cover the worry areas but this time I am trying to personalize my grow with brewing compost teas - next I am mixing my own soiless. I guess I will get chemical strips but I wonder.....always wonder about other options and what works for people.

yea do you i'm just here to help wit dat. Let noone change ya mind if you confident in ya decision. Da most expensive isn't always da best bra. I'm just a lil busy homeboy so i spend da extra bucks on wat makes my life easier.

Will you have a solution cause you dont want da strips if you using soil or any other soil mix you would want one of those cheap stick probe meters.

Oh if I had the money I would get one of those electronic ones like my friend had. I think he spent about 50 pounds on it and used it for his lab work so I would borrow it.

I have a soiless mix and the fertz I am using are home brewed compost teas from guano, kelp, and hopefully worm castings soon. I do not know if those fertz are ph balanced or not and since I am brewing it I want to test it with the soiless before I move on.

The first time I spent a lot of money on liquid fertz from major distributors and all this stuff. This time I just hope I can be a Bob Villa grower LOL.

I just wanted to know what people find to be the most effective way to test and what their trusted device is. I guess everybody has their own.

so you will be testing da ferts yea da drop will work fo u bra only like 7usd.

I grow hydro, I use a hanna grow check. Then use ph up or ph down mixed in a cup of RO water. Let it balance in my nute tank for 5 minutes then check again.
