Ph shooting up overnight

My Tap water PH is about 6.5 to 7 (stupid chemical testers suck).

My plants had a PH of about 8 and had some yellowing.

I also have one of those electric all in-one PH/Moisture/light probes.

On Monday I transplanted into bigger pots and added my new Fox Farm nutes. I tested the PH yesterday and it was still at 8 so I flushed and by the end of the day they were at 6.5-6.8 or so.

I wake up this morning put m probe in and it's back at 8.

Spent 80 bucks on Nutes and soil and haven't noticed any significant growth since I transplanted but I have also not noticed any bad signs. I am on week 2 of flowering. Why could this be happening? Is there any way to get this PH down with a home remedy? I don't have the cash right now to get any PH down and I want them to dry out before I water or feed them again or should I flush them again?

Any help would be appreciated.

I hear lemon juice will lower ph. don't know how it works with soil i am hydro. sounds like buffers in the soil but I really don't know for sure. I know not much help but the lemon will lower ph
