my ph of my water with nutes was a little higher than 5.5 dont have an exact number i use strips. the run off was the same. i took a few soil samples and they are between 6.5-7. should i be worried about the runoff PH?

im growing in a soiless mix of peatmoss and perlite, and i am also 3 weeks into flowering. im worried about dropping to low and locking out phosphorous.

In soil, that could be a concern. The peat/perlite mixture is more forgiving. I grow in perlite/vermiculite mixture and shoot for a ph of 5.8-6.0.

peat/perl needs a lower pH than soil?

No, it is more forgiving, or will better tolerate a lower ph.
