Ph problems, or are they?

I have three AG's. One with a plant two weeks into bloom and if you don't look at the shriveling lower leaves it's never looked better. I feed it every Saturday and adjust the ph to 5.8. It's good until midweek and then only requires a minor correction.

I have two other AG's with four inch tall, three week old seedlings that are doing fine and look beautiful. They're all on the same feeding schedule, different food, but same schedule and I have to correct their ph every day. By the next day they've gone up to 6.6 to 6.9. At this rate I'm going to use more acid than food. (Possibly a slight exaggeration). Is this normal?

I don't know what strain/kind they are. They were seeds I got out of a baggie I bought a couple of years ago. I'm using distilled water. I have added a air pump and long stones, but I check the ph when they aren't on. I added a small fan to toughen them and they look fine. The roots look good. There's no odor coming from the bowl. No visible sign of algae. Is it normal to have the ph fluctuate that much in twenty four hours? I'm going to put in a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide as someone suggested yesterday. Will that help stabilize the ph? I worry about my babies. Thanks, Hank

Ya sometimes that happens to mine if you adjust it usually it'll stay where yo adjust too, sometimes i have to adjust my ph 2 times a week, other weeks i go without changing it at all, it really depends on conditions i guess how much light gets in your res could effect it's ph etc..other than that as long as you stay on top of it you should be just fine.
