PH problems in my aerogarden classic

This is my first post here. I have been reading a lot trying to learn. If I missed this in the forums somewhere I apologize for the re-post.

The water in my aerogarden constantly increases. I can come home for lunch. adjust the PH and by the time I get home from work the PH has gone up again.

Is this normal? Should I have to adjust the PH this much? What could be causing the PH to change so much?

I have a digital PH meter as well as the liquid/color match tester. And I have been using the PH Down I got from the hydro store.

My babies are still in there first week and this is my first grow so I am a little concerned. the leaves are starting to yellow and I'm worried I'm killing them.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

What is your total set up some background goes a long way. Do you have an air stion do you use tap watter. Do you let the watter sit 24hrs before you put it in the rez. Is you rez clean. what nutes are you using? Like i said some background info goes a long way!

Thanks,

I do not have an air stion.
I use tap water run through a brita.
I have not let it set in the past but I will be from now on. I actually have a jug sitting out right now.
The rez is clean as far as I can tell.
I have only used 1/2 tab of the aerogarden starter nutes.
I germinated in a paper towel.
As of today the plants are 9 days old.

An AIR stone is critical. a 6in from walmart with an air pump cheep. It helps keep temps down and water moving. also helps PH. need it quick.
