Ph pen and TDS test equip. neccessary? Please answer.

I just ordered Lids w/ build in 6'' net cups, expanded clay pellets, rockwool, and Ive bought some air pumps and air stone for that. Now for the question. Do I need the ph /tds test equipment before I can start my plants? I would imagine I could go for the first 3 or so weeks of growth without it, but I could be wrong.

i would think so.... as the seedling/plants dont really need any nutes until i say 2-3 weeks, depending on growth!!!

BUT i would go head and buy it!

I don't have the money for those things right now, as Im buying a 600w hps tommorow, and thats taking up all my money. I could have it in a few weeks no problem. So would you say im okay for a few weeks?

dont see how light is going to help much when your plants are going to be burning because of high ph or ec!!!

Just feed at really diluted strengths and top up with plain water if need be. That will hold you a week or two until you can get you gauges. If they're seedlings you'll be ok as they dont ask for much the 1st week or two.

I made through a whole DWC grow using neither. But with meters its alot easier and more productive.

Im buying the light to flower my 5 plants I already have going. ^^


Im just going ahead and getting all my stuff together for the next grow, I want to do hydro. ^_^
